We made it up to Big Bear for a fun hike over memorial day

Well, am enjoying great spring SoCal weather, but spending too much time inside it seems…. Paper writing is still keeping me chained to the desk.

Our plastic bottle use has definitely dropped since we got our at home seltzer water maker.

We checked out the newly restored Fox Theater in downtown Riverside. Here are some pictures.

Preparing to jump back into work feet-first. Been doodling around a bunch this week but now the deadlines are close at hand.

Back from Ensenada. Had a great time there for the Frontiers in Fungal Biology conference. Will summarize some of the highlights when I’ve gotten caught up on sleep.

Great visit with visiting speaker today. So many great ideas. Now to find people to help work on this in the lab.
